march of the mindless

a month,
and already the transitional changes feel so real.

half-fuck eyes,
purple lips,
weary smile,
overworked mind.

whenever i was spared a few minutes,
i sat down with my smokes,
drift into my temporal cosmo,
and looked at myself.

"what am i doing?",
that was always the conclusion.

maybe some found what they wanted,
maybe some just accepted everything.
what i simply know,
is i am too held back by circumstances,
and it really bothers me,
really.

is it the living or inanimate elements?
surely there's thousands of good reasons,
but if ultimately this space is the main issue,
im gonna leave everything behind,
and head somewhere where i can live for myself.

on a lighter note,
ive decided to post a couple of pics each week.
this way,
they can probably last me for months.

alcoholic paradise : cheapo booze

to the rest : the real reason why we disappeared from the party and came back all wet

reluctance : packing up and leaving orlando for the last time

temptation at south beach : she's asking for it

so i guess this blog would be revived.

i've yet to even gotten all the pics from the peeps yet.
but i've gotten those from the first 2 months though.

shall randomly post them.
will try to get those pics from keywest, new york, and taipei soon.

broke

been working hard,
and playing to a minimal for two weeks.
everything is just too expensive.

bulgarians,
indians,
turkishs,
czech republicans,
russians,
chinese,
singaporeans,
floridians,
but i found myself getting along better and hanging out more with the thais and phillipinos.

sadly,
they have all left,
and got back to southeast asia.
i'll miss them,
especially the weekly house parties.

the crazy thai parties are always filled with beer and tom yam and spicy thai noodle.
trust me,
the crazily spicy thai food makes all the alcohol more lethal,
somehow.

the crazier phillipino parties are always filled with hard liquors,
hard liquors,
and more hard liquors.
singaporeans have this impression that most phillipinos are poverty-stricken,
domestic maid-like,
and cant speak english well.
but those i encountered here can speak damn well,
and are damn good dancers.

some of them promised to hook up with me in singapore in december.
but right now,
im gonna miss the nightly hanging out and boozing,
weekly house parties,
and the sight of them dancing in the storeroom at work whenever the radio goes
you make me sucidal, sucidal...
or,
umbrella, ella, ella, eh, eh, eh...
i'll miss them.

these two weeks,
i took a break from the beach,
and tried the countryside instead.

the countryside isnt that bad afterall.

we move around in a buggy,
and have the occasional buggy-racing.

chilling out on a home-made swing.

discovered the legendary m&m world by accident.
a store as big as a soccerfield,
with nothing but m&m products.

this florida trip seems more like an extended roadtrip.
we seemed to spend more hours on the road than at work.

my vintage ride.
love it.

did i mentioned that we spend more time sleeping in the car than on our bed?

i developed a love for sticking my head outta the window at 150km/hrs to take pics.

went onboard the sterling casino in the atlantic ocean,
the biggest gambling cruise in the world,
for free.

we set sail into the atlantic ocean...

past the south-eastern part of florida...

into dusk.

and lost our week's pay.

so what we can do now is...

just go around taking pictures...

and hang around (literally) till our next paycheck.

nothing much to show in this entry cuz of the casino loss.

noticed how i seemed to be always wearing the same stuffs?

THAT'S CUZ I AINT GOT THE MONEY TO SHOP!!!

stay tuned though.

just went to the african busch garden,
and mgm, and magic kingdom in disneyland.

the remaining two parks of disneyland,
animal kingdom and epcot,
should be on next week.

stay crazy,
people.

still breathing and kicking

"how you doing, buddy?"
i dont know why,
but the locals seemed to all greet me this way.
i always reply with a
"im good, and you must be doing great"

random facts about florida.
-the alligator is the mascot of florida's university,
baseball team,
tourist symbol,
and many other stuffs.
-gatorade was invented by a floridian.
-the banana boat aloe vera gel was invented by a floridian.
-orlando is the lightning capital of the world. (the lightnings here are freaking bright and freaking loud and freaking disasterous)

enuff gay talk,
time for some pics.

one of the must-visit places is of course walmart,
where everything's big and cheap.

their smallest bottle of milk is bigger than cass's head.

our favourite diner,
T.G.I fridays,
where there's special promotions every friday.

the good thing about working for the anheuser busch company,
tons of different beers to try,
FOC!

the traffic rules here seemed lax.
bikers dont wear helmets,
windows are tainted till you cant see the people inside,
and they like to do the above.

another one.

we visit downtown disney so often,
im falling in love with minnie.

bbq at captain jack's,
anyone?

apparently lowe is famous in florida.
he's everywhere!

and of course,
what's florida without the beaches?

clearwater beach in tampa bay,
where the beach is tranquil and the water is, erm, clear.

it's so peaceful and tranquil here,
as there's only the blue sky,
people lying so still under the sun as if they were dead,
and a lifeguard-less lifeguard post.

riviera beach,
facing the gulf of mexico,
and inhibited by mexicans and tourists.

liu in riviera!

took 3 days off work for the roadtrip to vice city,
miami!
took the coastal highway,
and passed by endless beaches.

first stop,
palm beach!

before beoming a surf legend,
a man's gotta surf the highway railing.

forgot which beach is this.
but there's only a looooong jetty,
and tons of skimboarders.

deerfield beach,
which is exactly like sentosa cove.

unlike other parts of florida,
where there are tons of obese people and lazy people who uses electronic wheelchairs to move around,
miami is totally filled with beautiful people.

it's easy to find the redlight district in miami.

if there's something everyone agrees on,
it's the number one tattoo studio in the world,
miami ink.

vice-less in miami.

en route to the number one beach in florida,
miami south beach!

it's nice,
nice,
and nice.

nobody told me south beach permits nudism!

infamous smu-jump. (manyun, me, justin, cass, pam)

familiar pic?

thats it for now.
the turn of summer is finally here.
it's not hot in the day and cold at night anymore.
now it's freaking HOT in the day and freaking COLD at night.

the leeched internet connection is bad,
so i'd better not try to upload too many pics.
you guys stay crazy!
