this is how my first week of school went.

-spent more hours at work than at school.

-totally overslept and skipped one day,
while i have four per week.

-bus ride to school on friday morning took a cool three hours,
instead of the usual one-and-a-half.

that's about it.
nothing's terrific,
nothing's terrible.
that's school for me.





this is what an acquaintance's cousin actually did to his girlfriend:

asshole: did u bring your UOB ladys' card for the 1-for-1?

gf: oh dear, i don't think so

asshole: fuck u lor, bitch. phucking slut la u.

(gf keeps silent and seemingly apologetic)

when the drinks came,
the gf was at the restroom.
the asshole ransacked the gf's handbag,
and poured everything out.

(gf came back)

asshole: where you kept your money? pay for the drinks la.

(gf pays)

the gf was decent-looking,
polite,
soft-spoken.

asshole was arrogant,
ugly,
and rude.

life works in weird ways.
